The RX-Type1-Tablet is a tablet-based far end decoder with an attached 3.9mm USB otoscope camera. The otoscope reaches LC or other connectors in tight, high-density locations and side-facing inserts that are impossible to view directly. The technician sees results on the tablet screen and hears strand identification announced audibly — never looking at the fiber endface.

The RX-Type2-SP is a smartphone-based far end decoder that uses a cradle attachment to leverage existing smartphone hardware. Three configurations provide maximum field flexibility. Technicians use their existing smartphone for identification, documentation, and cloud connectivity.
Camera-based decoding reads encoded light signatures without physically mating with the connector. No dust cap removal. No contamination risk.
Strand identification announced out loud in any language or code. Pair with Bluetooth headphones for noisy environments. Frees hands and eyes.
WiFi, Bluetooth, and cloud connectivity capture identification records in real time. Document as you go with 100% confidence.
Untethered operation over WiFi and Bluetooth — with a remote app for switching modes from either end — and reliable identification regardless of ambient lighting, indoors or in outside plant.
Our team can help you select the right far end decoder configuration for your deployment requirements.
