MPO polarity verification

Paired with the 2nd-end MPO breakout box, it safely identifies MPO trunk polarity method (A, B, or C) and confirms TX/RX polarity in duplex deployments.

Field-configurable in minutes

Reconfigures in about two minutes to an MPO trunk or any simplex/duplex connector — LC, SC, ST, or FC — via LGX adapter panels and a rear repatch panel.

About

The FCM-12LED is a 12-strand LED-based Fiber Control Module that provides encoded parallel identification for any multi-fiber cable — MPO or non-MPO. By using LED light sources instead of lasers, it eliminates laser safety risk entirely. Low-cost fiber-coupled LEDs make it modular and expandable to 48 ports, it reconfigures in minutes to virtually any connector type, and it has been tested to 950 m on OM3 multimode and 2 km on single-mode fiber.
